Top Ten Games



1.  Tetris: is the number one best-selling video game of all time and sold 100 million copies. Tetris was released on the Commodore 64 in June 6, 1984 (not counting its release on Android, IOS and PSP.)

2.  Wii Sports: is the 2nd best-selling game of all time due to it being bundled with the original Wii. It has sold 82.69 million copies. Wii Sports was released on the Wii on November 19th, 2006.

3.  Minecraft: is the 3rd best-selling game video game of all time with 70 million copies sold. Minecraft was released on October 7th, 2011 on all current platforms.

4.  Grand Theft Auto V: is the 5th instalment to the popular GTA series. GTA V has sold 54 million copies. GTA V was released on September 17th, 2013 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. (Was released PC but this statistics are based on sales before it was released on PC.)

5.  Super Mario Bros: is the 5th best-selling video game selling 40.24 million copies and launched an iconic game with a recognisable video game. Super Mario Bros was released on the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) on September 13th, 1985.

6.  Mario Kart Wii: Mario Kart sold 36.38 million copies and is the 6th best-selling video game. Mario Kart Wii was released on the Wii on April 10th, 2008.

7.  Tetris (Game Boy): Tetris on the Game Boy sold an incredible 35 million copies and is the 7th best-selling game. It was released on June 14, 1989.

8.  Wii Sports Resorts: Wii Sports Resorts sold 32.8 million copies due to it being bundle for free with the Wii. It’s the second instalment following the original Wii Sports. It was released on June 25th, 2009.

9.  New Super Mario Bros Wii: came out on November 11th, 2009 for the Wii and sold 30.79 million copies.


10.     Diablo 3: Diablo 3 is the 3rd instalment in the popular action RPG and has sold 30 million copies. It was released on May 15th, 2012.

My Top Ten Games                                       In the list below is my top ten games, these are the games I play on a regular basis and I enjoy(ed) the most . The Metro Series The Metro series is a first person post-apocalyptic survival horror game. The game has two play through modes. Spartan which makes the game action orientated and gives players more resources. The other play through style is survival where resources are limited, AI are much harder to defeat and slower reload speeds. The games' artstyle is exaggerated in the subterranean world but the creatures in the game are cartoonish.      Metro Redux Trailer Lords of the Fallen  Lords of the Fallen is a fantasy action RPG. Its difficulty level has been compared to Dark Souls and Bloodborne for its hard bosses and the rage inducing gameplay. The combat in the game is letting us have fun without pain. Even thought the game is 17 hours long its still an awesome but gruelling experience.

Types of Digital Graphics Raster File Formats BMP: Bitmap is a commonly used raster graphic format for saving file images. The BMP format stores colour data for each pixel in the image without compression. BMP are images used often for printable images. Bitmap Image The Pros of BMP (Bitmap) Bitmap files may translate well to dot format output devices such as printers.
